Sherwood Forest Hospitals confirmed that a 24-hour pilot for the vaccination hub went ahead on Wednesday, January 20.
“A huge amount of work went in to setting it up and more than 800 people who met the JCVI (Joint Committe on Vaccination and Immunisation) guidance had their first vaccination, who otherwise would still be waiting for it,” the trust said.
Ashfield MP Lee Anderson praised the move and said: “King’s Mill Hospital has stepped up once again and vaccinated more than 800 people during the 24-hour overnight trial on Wednesday. This is a great achievement and shows that our hospitals can produce great results.

University Hospitals Birmingham runs Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Solihull Hospital and Community Services, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham Chest Clinic.
Sherwood Forest Hospitals covers three hospitals in Nottinghamshire - King s Mill Hospital, Newark Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital.
