GREENUP A Greenup County man has been indicted in connection with a June 6 shooting, according to court records.
Jonathon D. Howard, 23, of Greenup, was indicted July 9 on three counts of attempted murder. He was also indicted on one count of first-degree fleeing or evading and one count of fourth-degree assault in a separate case.
According to his indictment, Howard fired an AR-15 at or near the home of a family after threatening to kill them. He then hit one woman inside the home and fled from Greenup City Police, his separate indictment states.
If convicted, Howard could face between 10 and 20 years in prison on each of his attempted murder charges, up to one year in jail on his assault charge and a one-to-five on the fleeing count.

FRANKLIN FURNACE, OHIO A suspect in a multi-jurisdiction pursuit that began in northeastern Kentucky and ended with shots fired in Scioto County Sunday is presumably on the loose in the Columbus area, according to the Scioto County Sheriff.
Lewis County Sheriff Johnny Bivens confirmed Tuesday that the suspect is 48-year-old Tracy Rickett.
The Scioto County Sheriffâs Office confirmed later Tuesday Rickett is of Portsmouth, Ohio, and was wanted on a bench warrant in Scioto County, as well as warrants in Portsmouth Municipal Court and the current charges relating to the chase. Â
Sheriff David Thoroughman confirmed the Ohio Bureau of Investigation has also opened an officer-involved shooting investigation in connection with the chase that ended at Franklin Furnace. In a Tuesday press release, the Scioto County Sheriffâs Office stated officers from both agencies had opened fire, but no one was injured.
