Akron s Chapel Hill Mall will be one of more than a dozen long-term COVID-19 mass vaccination sites opening across Ohio.
Gov. Mike DeWine and Cuyahoga County officials made the announcement Friday afternoon at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center, the site of a separate eight-week federal mass vaccination clinic, which starts March 17.
The state said the regional mass vaccination clinics will begin opening in the coming weeks as supply becomes available, although DeWine said they were expected to start at the end of the month. They ll operate until they re no longer necessary.
Clinics will be able to administer between 300 and 3,000 vaccines a day, depending on the location, supply and demand, according to the state.

Water stations are available throughout the city for people without service because of water main breaks throughout Tulsa.

Crews continued work Monday on dozens of water line breaks across the City of Tulsa, meaning hundreds of people are still without running water.
Officials said 40 crews were at work, and the city s water main breaks dashboard showed 60 active breaks as of 5 p.m. Tulsans are asked to keep conserving water no washing cars, no running high-use appliances and no long showers.
The city is pumping 75 million more gallons of water a day than is typical. Water and Sewer Director Clayton Edwards said they’re looking for problems on the city system, but more than one-thousand private breaks have been reported from homes and businesses.
