BETHESDA, MD The number of new COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County fell to 77 on Tuesday its lowest level since mid-October.
The caseload hasn t been that low since Oct. 19, when 71 infections were recorded. Tuesday s addition pushes the countywide total to 64,934 cases.
One more resident has died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The local death toll now sits at 1,398.

Health officials believe that another 45 people had the virus, but died before ever getting tested. For now, they are considered probable deaths.

I did my research on district elections a little over a year ago and since that time, the idea of district elections in Newport Beach seems more relevant than ever.
In the latest City Council election, we saw very few challengers to council seats, (two to be exact) compared to surrounding cities which attracted significantly more.
