MUNCIE, Ind.  Beginning early next week, people age 80 and older will be eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine in Delaware County. Beginning Friday, those residents could make appointments for their first of two vaccine doses. According to the Delaware County Health Department s website, Indiana is still in Phase 1 of vaccine distribution, meaning there is a limited supply. Currently, those eligible for a vaccine include frontline healthcare workers and medical first responders, as determined by Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH). Individuals 80 and older were added to the Phase 1 group on Wednesday by Governor Eric Holcomb.
