The nomination will be made at the March 3rd Governor and Council meeting.
Subscribe John has been a key member of my team since the day I took office, and his incredible legal skill and exceptional work ethic have helped me guide the State through the historic challenges we have faced during the past four years, said Governor Chris Sununu. John has built excellent relationships with State leaders that will enable him to transition smoothly into the role of Attorney General, and his experience in both the public and private sectors will prove invaluable in helping lead the Department of Justice for the next four years. I am proud today to announce his nomination and I am confident that, if confirmed, John will carry on the great legacy that we have established at our Department of Justice and will serve our State well.

Black Lives Matter Seacoast held a virtual gathering Sunday night honoring area leaders who are people of color. It’s the first event like it for the group.
Julian Maduro, Events Manager for BLM Seacoast, said that other events celebrating local leaders, such as Catapult Seacoast’s 10 to Watch Awards, have left out BIPOC leaders who do important work in their communities.
“This event really was born from the idea and the realization that people of color in the Seacoast aren’t being recognized enough for the great, great work that they’re doing. We saw an event that recognized Seacoast leaders, but there were no people of color on that event list, and we thought that was a real shame,” said Maduro.

Katelyn Kwoka: Seacoast Repertory Theatre
I would like to support the Seacoast Rep. I am on the Board of Trustees because I believe the arts are an integral part of any community. In addition to the main stage programs, the Rep supports the next generation of theater professionals with PAPA and the new Sol Series has been a real leader in lifting up BIPOC (Black, indigenous and people of color) voices and stories.
Allison Dudas: Cross Roads House
I chose Cross Roads House because of their devotion to people and families on the Seacoast. They offer a significant amount of resources to the people they serve, helping them enter back into stable housing. The Seacoast is lucky to have Cross Roads House!
