As the series works toward its big confrontation, there is a ton to like with what’s going on with this run of the world of Vampirella. Thomas Sniegoski delivers another good issue here as we see some of the characters struggling with things, the reveal of an even larger plan through some events that have proceeded unnoticed for generations, and some wonderfully evil moments out of Nyx. At the same time, Kewber Baal has worked a really great look for the book with strong and consistent characters, lots of detail in the

As Vengeance of Vampirella continues on, we feel like we’re getting to a point where there needs to be a real shift in the narrative so that it’s not just a lot of back and forth fighting. Thomas Sniegoski has this issue feel like it knows that it needs to get into the rough a bit more and get this done. I’m not expecting Nyx’s defeat at the moment but I’m starting to look beyond that with a curiosity as to what the series will be like. Thankfully, for now, we’ve still got Kewbe Baal on the job with the artwork as it’s another solid-looking installment t
