Officials with the local victim services program are breathing a sigh of relief after receiving some much-needed funding.
Eagle Tower Victim Services recently received two grants totalling about $100,000 to help continue delivering services to those who need it.

Tina Prodaniuk, program manager for Eagle Tower Victim Services, said up the non-profit group has been in limbo for a while awaiting to see what, if any, funding they would receive from the provincial government.
After applying for the Community Initiatives Program (CIP) grant, Prodaniuk found out they were successful in their application and will receive $73,358. That money can be used for volunteer advocate training, travel, programming and operating costs.
