TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - He spent 12 years as the Tupelo fire chief and started his career as a fireman in Iuka back in 1983.
Now, Tupelo Fire Chief Thomas Walker is retiring.

During a typical year, Muskegon doubles down on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, with a variety of activities held on or around March 17. There’s usually a parade, an Irish music party, a Shamrock 5k, and drink and food specials at restaurants and bars all over town. This year, Muskegon had to get creative with their St. Patrick’s celebration. They’ve put out the call to all to bring your very own shanty downtown, and enjoy the very best the area has to offer, safely, with an event thats been dubbed Shamrockin’ In Your Shanty.
