TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The American Heart Association announced tonight on FOX Sports that head coach has been named the recipient of the 2020 Paul Bear Bryant Award.
The award recognizes the country s top college football coach for his contributions both on and off the field. The award is selected after all bowl games have concluded and is voted on by the National Sports Media Association.
“Well, I don t think anybody really compares to Coach Bryant,” Saban said after Alabama’s 52-24 win in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night. “In the era that he coached, the era that he won, he won a lot of different ways. He won throwing it. He won running a wishbone. He won it running conventional offensive formations.

The college marching ensembles collaborated in a virtual performance, showcasing their talents and commitment to the performing arts during halftime of the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on January 11, 2021.
The William Penn University Marching Band is proud to announce that four students were selected to perform in the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Intercollegiate Marching Band (IMB). They joined nearly 1,500 performers from 200 bands in 45 states and Puerto Rico, all working together to produce a virtual college marching band show. The college marching ensembles collaborated in a virtual performance, showcasing their talents and commitment to the performing arts during halftime of the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on January 11, 2021.

Nick Saban secured his sixth national championship in 14 seasons at Alabama on Monday night, thanks to a 52-24 victory over Ohio State.
Not all championships are created equal, however. The road to get there, the strength of the opposition and the makeup of the roster has been different in every case.
What follows is a ranking of Saban’s six Alabama national championship teams, listed in reverse order from “worst” to best (team’s final record in parentheses):

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Due to rainy conditions, the University of Alabama football team moved its practice indoors to the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on Wednesday afternoon.
It was the second full-padded, and third practice of the week in preparation for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night against Ohio State in Miami.
The game will air on ESPN at 7 p.m (CT) with the duo of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the action from the booth while Holly Rowe and Maria Taylor work the sidelines.

The final defense standing in the Crimson Tide s way from immortality is the Ohio State Buckeyes in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday night at 7 p.m (CT) from inside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
On the surface, the matchup is a tasty one for Jones and company against a Buckeyes pass defense that ranks 116th out of 127 FBS schools in the country, and is giving up 281 yards through the air each time out.
