California Lifts Regional Stay at Home Orders Statewide

Jan 25, 2021 California s Governor has lifted regional stay-at-home orders statewide in response to improving coronavirus conditions. Governor Gavin Newsom says the decision to end the Regional Stay at Home orders statewide means a return to the system of county-by-county tiered COVID restrictions. The state also has lifted a 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew. The ending of the Regional order means restaurants can operate outdoors as well as easing some of the other restrictions on multiple kinds of businesses. WATCH GOVERNOR NEWSOM BRIEFING BELOW. California Department of Public Health news release SACRAMENTO – Officials with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) today ended the Regional Stay at Home Order, lifting the order for all regions statewide, including the three regions that had still been under the order – San Joaquin Valley, Bay Area and Southern California.
