2 New COVID Cases In Tuolumne And 2 New Cases In Calaveras

Tuolumne blueprint case rate Tuolumne County Tuolumne Public Health reports two new COVID cases today, a girl age 17 or younger and a man age 50 to 59. One individual is no longer hospitalized, one COVID positive resident remains hospitalized. A total of 23 cases are considered active. Tuolumne County has a total of 4,091 cases split between 2,675 community cases and 1,416 Sierra Conservation Center (SCC) inmate cases, there are currently no active COVID-19 positive inmates at the prison. Total community cases released from isolation are 2,588 and the total number of tests administered is 89,221. The county report lists 36,257 vaccine doses administered in Tuolumne. Tuolumne county’s vaccine coverage is approximately 44% and the Statewide average is approximately 52%

3 New COVID Cases In Tuolumne, Two In Calaveras

A Death Tuolumne, And A COVID Death In Calaveras As It Moves To Orange Tier

California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy updated the Tier assignments and Calaveras and Mono County may now join 38 other counties, including Tuolumne, in the Orange Moderate COVID Risk Tier. Just over 87 percent of the population in California’s 58 counties are now in the Orange Tier. Stanislaus, Sacramento, Amador, and most of the Central Valley remain in the Red Tier with only 3 counties in the least restrictive Yellow Tier. Tuolumne County  Tuolumne Public Health reports they are investigating a death of an individual who was hospitalized, the case will not be reported as a COVID-related death until the investigation is complete. Public Health reports five new COVID cases today, including one who is in the hospital. The new cases are two women and a man age 18 to 29, a women age 60-69, and a woman over the age of 90. Two cases are currently hospitalized, 19 are currently considered active and two were released from isolation.

The new cases are a girl age 17 and under, a woman age 18 to 29, two women age 30-39, and a woman age 60 to 69. One of the new cases is hospitalized and one earlier reported case is hospitalized for a total of two cases currently hospitalized, and 17 are currently active. Half Of Those Eligible For COVID Vaccine Are Vaccinated, New Cases Locally

Tuolumne County  Tuolumne Public Health reports two new COVID cases. No cases are currently hospitalized, 12 covid cases are currently active and one was released from isolation. Tuolumne County has a total of 4,066 cases split between 2,650 community cases and 1,416 Sierra Conservation Center (SCC) inmate cases, there are currently no active COVID-19 positive inmates at the prison. Total community cases released from isolation are 2,574 and the total number of tests administered is 87,897. The county report lists 35,065 vaccine doses administered in Tuolumne. Tuolumne Public Health recommends getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, washing your hands, physical distancing, avoiding crowds, and not going to work or school when sick to continue to provide layers of protection for each person, their loved ones, and for the community as the county remains in the Orange Tier.
