  The Bishop of the Sekondi Diocese of the Methodist Church of Ghana Rt Reverend Daniel De-Graft Brace has hit out at President Akufo-Addo and his government for overburdening Ghanaians with excessive taxes. Don t twist hand of God in prayers – Methodist Bishop to Christians LISTEN FEB 15, 2021 Right Reverend Professor Joseph M. Y. Edusa-Eyison, the Northern Accra Diocesan Bishop, the Methodist Church Ghana, has cautioned Christians against twisting the hand of God during prayers for favour. He said the new normal among many Christians and churches was that if Christians wanted to be heard and favoured by God, then they had to scream and command help from God while praying. This, was to show how serious they were with their request and how much they commanded power to trample over the enemy. He said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency after inaugurating the Dome Circuit of the Church on Saturday in Accra.

  We don’t know what higher education will look like after COVID-19. However, we do know that there is no going back to pre-pandemic academic business as usual. COVID-19 has accelerated the postsecondary trends that were already well underway pre-pandemic. These accelerated trends include: The shift from residential to online degree (and increasingly nondegree) programs. The digitization and hybridization of residential learning. Challenging financial circumstances (growing costs and diminishing revenues). One trend that I hope COVID-19 accelerates is the shift toward universal design for learning (UDL). (See Tobin and Behling Post-pandemic, all aspects of higher education and particularly areas of teaching and learning will be digitally mediated. Even instructional activities that we think of as primarily face-to-face interactions, such as residential lecture courses, will include substantial digital components.
