(ABC 6 News) - A Rochester man suffered life-threatening injuries during a three-vehicle crash on Highway 61 Tuesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 23-year-old Javon Kunkel was traveling southbound on Pelzer St. when he collided with two northbound vehicles.
The other two drivers, Trang Thi Le, 50, of Rochester, and Karla Winter, 45, of Winona, both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Rochester Man Severely Injured in Winona Crash

Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was transported to a hospital in La Crosse with life-threatening injuries following a three-vehicle crash in Winona last night.
The State Patrol says 23-year-old Javon Kunkel was driving on the street that intersects with Highway 61 around 6:45 PM when his car collided with two vehicles traveling north on the highway. The crash report on Kunkel indicates alcohol was involved.
The drivers of the other vehicles, 50-year-old Trang Thu Thi Le of Rochester and 45-year-old Karla Winter of Winona suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the collision. The Rochester woman was transported to St. Mary s Hospital while the other driver was taken to the Winona hospital for treatment.
