They echo through the loblolly pines and red clay backwoods along Rock Cut Road where three men were executed by the Ku Klux Klan.
They echo past magnolia blossoms on Main Street, past the white Italian marble confederate soldier statue which remains today
outside the courthouse where a killer was finally convicted.
