Golden Gate Point today is mostly high-rise condominium towers, several of them quite luxurious. Residents consider their community the most conveniently located in all of Sarasota.
MARKET SNAPSHOT: Mandalay in Bradenton is a tropical paradise
Chris Angermann
Developed and built by Neal Communities from 2004 to 2010, Mandalay offers privacy and seclusion in a convenient location. Situated in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Lockwood Ridge Road and Honore Avenue, the gated neighborhood displays a great deal of natural beauty.
It starts with the attractively landscaped, divided entrance on Lockwood Ridge. To one side stands a stone tower with a red tile roof, flanked by stone walls that display the name of the community. The other side has a lake with a sparkling fountain. (There is a rear exit gate to Honore Avenue as well.)
