Now that the many new COVID-induced gardeners have a year of veggie-growing under their belts, it’s time to graduate into the curious world of “edibles beyond.”
One of the benefits of home gardening is that it’s possible to grow all sorts of unusual and offbeat crops beyond the standard onions, tomatoes, and beans.
Most of these grow just as well as more familiar fare. You just have to know they exist and sometimes go to a little extra effort to track them down, which generally means starting from seed.
