Geir Espeskog (left) and Emily Woodland (right), co-heads of Blackrock Sustainable Investing PEOPLE Monday, 12 April 2021 11:10 Blackrock Names APAC Co-Heads for Sustainable Investing The New York-headquartered asset manager has appointed Geir Espeskog and Emily Woodland as co-heads of «Blackrock Sustainable Investing» (BSI) for APAC. Espeskog is Blackrock’s current head of iShares APAC distribution after first joining the exchange-traded fund business in 2010 through its London office. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2015 and has grown iShares assets under management from $50 billion to over $160 billion including for sustainable investment products. Woodland joins from AMP Capital where she as its head of sustainable investment since 2018 overseeing ESG-related initiatives across products, research, analysis and thought leadership. Previously, she was also with Asia Debt Management’s sustainable investment programs and spent 16 years with UBS in trading and portfolio

CFP Board Names New D&I Director The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) has named Dawn Harris as its director of diversity and inclusion (D&I) for the Center for Financial Planning.  In this newly created position, Harris will be responsible for advancing diversity and inclusion programs and growing the number of diverse CFP professionals within the financial planning profession.   “CFP Board and the center are committed to advancing a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the financial planning workforce,” says CFP Board CEO Kevin R. ON THE MOVE: BNP Paribas AM Tabs de Trémiolles; Sedgwick to Abel Noser BNP Paribas Asset Management appointed Inés de Trémiolles as Global Head of Trading. Inés will join on 6 April, be based in Paris and report to Sophie Lugiez, Head of BNP AM’s Global Trading Function. In her new role, Inés will be responsible for managing BNPP AM’s three trading hubs, in Europe (Paris), Asia (Hong Kong) and the US (New York and Boston).  She brings broad sell-side experience and knowledge of large asset managers’ needs in terms of orders execution. Inés joins from BNP Paribas CIB in London, where she was Global Head of Credit Trading Desk Analysts. She joined BNPP CIB in 2000 and has held roles within fixed income sales, trading and primary markets, in Paris and London.  Previously she worked for Lehman Brothers in New York and London, and Citibank in Madrid.
