Emily Ruppert and Colby Dean of Bethany Beach became an item after they met through mutual friends around Thanksgiving 2015. They’d each discover they’d found “the one,” albeit at different times. “I knew it was Colby when he first told me he loved me,” Emily recalls. “It was after our first day trip together we went to Baltimore to the National Aquarium and then see an Orioles game.” For Colby, it was after another first. “We went hunting, and I realized I’d found the person I wanted to do all of my favorite things with,” he says.
