LONDON ONT, If you’re seeking some summer fun - look no further. The famous carnival in St. Thomas is in full swing this weekend first time since the pandemic hit. “We didn’t have it last year, so we came out this year to take part in it,” says Jason Jackson who visited the Carnival Sunday with his children Jarred and Joelle. To kick off the fun, St. Anne’s Community Festival teamed up with the World’s Finest Shows to get the rides, games and food trucks up and running. ‘Everything has been great so far, everyone has been so happy to be back and having fun outside and so are we,” says Patrick Jamieson with World’s Finest shows. ....

Chef and co-owner Brian Hanâformer chef de partie at the two-Michelin-starred Lazy Bear and head of the tasting menu at Azizaâcombines Middle Eastern, North African, and Japanese influences, plus elements of his own Korean culture, in partnership with co-owner and former Top Chef contestant BJ Smith (formerly of Smokehouse 21, Smokehouse Tavern, Kim Jong Smokehouse, and more). In previous iterations, the restaurant was a pop-up called Dirty Habit; through the end of this week, itâs offering lunch under the name Silk Road. The new name, Grace Cafe, is a nod to Han and Smithâs upbringings. âBJ and I are both recovering Catholics,â Han says. âBut we really appreciate the congregating and the community and coming together to sit down together and say grace at the table.â ....
