Two women allegedly murdered DIJKOT: Two women were allegedly murdered in separate incidents in Dijkot on Friday. Police said a woman, who ran away from her home, was killed by her brother and buried in a nearby graveyard. Police arrested the suspect and registered a case after recovering the victim’s body. As per the police report, 32-year-old Jati Bibi was married to Muhammad Nawaz, a resident of Pakpattan Sharif, in the suburb village of Mouza Shadi, Sadat Kalanwala. She had fled with her paramour 11 days ago. Her brother Liaquat brought her back to their village. On the day of the incident, Liaquat allegedly killed his sister by stran- gling her using a dupatta around her neck while she was asleep.
