With the recent outbreak of avian influenza commonly known as ‘bird flu’ the poultry industry, already damaged by the pandemic, has been dealt a severe blow. In Haryana’s Panchkula, 166,000 birds are being culled in poultry farms after samples tested positive for bird flu.
