A nonprofit group backed by some of America’s biggest companies and linked to Hunter Biden works closely with a Chinese Communist Party front group accused of trying to influence state and local policymakers.
Since 2015, the State Legislative Leaders Foundation has partnered with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a Communist Party-affiliated propaganda organization. In 2010, a foundation adviser facilitated Hunter Biden s first business trip to China.

On April 21, 2021, Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne announced that Canberra had revoked two major accords between the Australian State of Victoria and China, effectively terminating Australia s limited participation in China s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).[1]
In a press release, Payne pointed to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Victoria and China s National Development and Reform Commission on Cooperation within the Framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative, signed October 8, 2018. He also noted the Framework Agreement between the Government of Victoria and China s National Development and Reform Commission of the People s Republic of China on Jointly Promoting the Framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Roa
A Chinese Embassy spokesman did not respond to a request for comment.
After initially stating the virus began from an infection at a wild animal market in Wuhan, China’s government spokesmen have launched a global information offensive claiming the coronavirus came from outside the country.
First, Chinese state media claimed the virus was brought to Wuhan by U.S. Army soldiers that took part in a conference in Wuhan in October 2019. That claim was denied by U.S. government spokesmen but amplified by Zhou Lijian, deputy Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, in a tweet asserting the American Army launched the pandemic.

Native Son was released in virtual cinemas recently in a restoration presented by Kino Lorber in association with the Library of Congress, Fernando Martín Peña, and Argentina Sono Film. The film was also aired by Turner Classic Movies (TCM) this past weekend.
Shot primarily in Buenos Aires, Argentina with some exterior location shots done in Chicago, the movie was directed and co-written by Pierre Chenal, a Belgian-born director associated with French poetic realism.
