Guwahati: In some top-level bureaucratic reshuffle in Assam, senior IAS officer Ghanshyam Das has been appointed as Secretary to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The announcement was made on Saturday.
Das was earlier serving as the Secretary in the agriculture department, an official release said.
Das also served as Labour Commissioner and Commissioner Guwahati Municipal Corporation. He was also the Deputy Commissioner of Goalpara from 2017 to 2018. In January this year, he was transferred from the post of Commissioner Guwahati Municipal Corporation and his services were placed at the disposal of the Government of Meghalaya for his posting in the state of Meghalaya.

Profile building startup CareerLabs on Monday said it has secured USD 2.2 million in a new financing round led by Rocket Internet s VC fund Global Founders Capital to scale its platform.
