Cambria to open hotels in New Haven and South Windsor FacebookTwitterEmail Choice Hotels International is bringing one of its upscale lodging brands to Connecticut in a big way. The Maryland-based hospitality franchiser will open two of its Cambria Hotels in Connecticut by next summer. The first Cambria Hotel will open this fall in South Windsor at 1000 Long Leaf Lane with the second location opening next summer in New Haven at 20 Dwight Street. Cambria’s hotels are in the extended stay category, according to Ginny Kozlowski, executive director of Visit New Haven and the Connecticut Lodging Association. Construction recently began on the Cambria Hotel in New Haven. When completed, the hotel will be six stories tall and have 130 rooms, according to officials with Choice Hotels.
