WORCESTER CO., Md. On Friday, January 8th, 2021, Worcester County Public Schools Superintendent Lou Taylor announced stage two of the transition to in-person learning, after months of students learning from home.
Superintendent Taylor says school officials have been working diligently to further safeguard schools to ensure children, faculty, and staff are able to safely head back to the classroom. He says this is all apart of the schools district’s Responsible Return plan.
Starting Monday, January 11th, staff will return to school and the following Tuesday, January 19th, they’ll start to welcome back small groups of students. Schools have already made contact with the families of those students in that first wave.
