The CouGears, Yeshivat Frisch’s FTC (First Tech Challenge) Robotics team, is proud to have earned a spot in the NJ State Championship this June, after ranking 11th out of almost 40 teams in the Northern Leagues regional championship held virtually on April 22. There, the team earned a second place award in the Control Award category, which recognizes excellence in coding.

American Legion Post 435 of Superior presented a donation of $2,500 to the Superior American Legion Baseball organization to help with the cost of uniforms, baseballs, equipment and other expenses. Ultimately, this donation will help keep the cost to the youth players lower. The Superior American Legion team is made up of players ages 17 to 19 who play teams from around the area as well as tournaments throughout the country.
