Workshops to discuss future coastal management
Eurobodalla Council is seeking nominations from residents who want to participate in workshops exploring how the community wants to see Eurobodalla’s coastline and beaches managed long-term.
The Council is preparing a Coastal Management Program to outline strategies for areas that are or expected to be affected by coastal hazards such as erosion and inundation.
The program will outline how Eurobodalla’s beaches, headlands and shorelines will be protected from coastal hazards long-term and where areas could use better access or protection.
The project has experienced stop-start progress over the years, reflecting changes to NSW coastal management policies.
