Holidaymakers flocking to Bridlington pack out new beach chalets

Holidaymakers flocking to Bridlington pack out new beach chalets with unprecedented demand They are almost fully booked up Updated The coronavirus pandemic has sparked “unprecedented” demand for seaside chalets at Bridlington this summer. With families unable to plan escapes abroad, the school holidays are already completely booked up for all 142 of the resort’s traditional seafront chalets, with just limited availability in June and the first two weeks of July. And newly replaced chalets on Bridlington’s south side, at Belvedere, have piqued the interest of visitors like never before. The existing chalets were removed and replaced with brand new ones in the same traditional style, painted in shades of blue and white to give them a true seaside feel.
