Fresno State quarterback Ben Wooldridge finds new home in Louisiana

After spending three seasons at Fresno State, quarterback Ben Wooldridge has transferred to the University of Louisiana.
Wooldridge entered the transfer portal on Dec. 16, 2020.
Wooldridge moves on to Louisiana, who play in the Sun Belt Conference. The Ragin’ Cajuns are coming off a historic season, as they ended the season ranked at No. 15. They opened their season with a victory of Iowa State who at the time was ranked No. 23 and finished the season ranked No. 9, along with a victory over Oregon in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl.

EUGENE ― Oregon signed 20 players to its 2021 recruiting class, the best in program history.
The Ducks’ class is ranked atop the Pac-12 for the third straight year and No. 6 nationally in the 247Sports Composite.
Four offensive linemen, a trio of heralded receivers, three outside linebackers, pairs of tight ends, safeties and cornerbacks and an inside linebacker, defensive tackle, quarterback and running back made up the class, which has room to add between now and February’s signing period.
