Ondo governor reappoints Donald Ojogo, Wale Akinteriwa as commissioners

TODAY March 4, 2021 The Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has reappointed his former Commissioner for Finance, Wale Akinteriwa, and the Information counterpart, Donald Ojogo, into his cabinet. Their names were part of the list of four commissioner nominees sent to the Ondo State House of Assembly for screening and approval on Thursday. The other nominees include Charles Titiloye and Aminu Olayiwola. In a letter addressed to the Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun, and signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Olugbenga Ale, the governor requested members of the House to give their approval to the list in view of the urgent need to fast-track the instrumentality of governance.

Punch Newspapers Sections Peter Dada,  Akure ONDO State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), has reappointed, Mr. Olugbenga Ale and Mr. Richard Olabode, as the Chief of Staff and Chief Press Secretary, respectively. This development came barely six days after the governor was inaugurated for his second and final term in office. The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant on Research and Documentation,  Kunle Adebayo,  in Akure, on Monday. Ale and Olabode served in the first term administration of Akeredolu. While Ale served as the Chief of Staff, Olabode was the Special Assistant to the governor on New Media.

Share Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, on Monday, appointed Mr Olabode Richard Olatunde, as his new Chief Press Secretary (CPS) just as he retained Chief Olugbenga Ale as his Chief of Staff. The appointments of the two officers were contained in a statement issued and signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Research and Documentation, Kunle Adebayo. The statement read that “as a key move to hit the ground running in service of the people in his second tenure, the Governor of Ondo State Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the appointments of Chief Olugbenga Ale as his Chief of Staff and Mr Olabode Richard as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor.
