The World Cancer Congress is a major international cancer control forum which convenes up to 4,000 renowned cancer and health professionals to network and share the latest successful interventions in cancer implementation science including prevention, diagnosis and care, as well as supportive and palliative care. This is a newly created position with Al Sinawi being the first in the association’s 21 -year-history to be appointed to the role. She will report directly to the Board of Directors, who have been assigned as per the elections held on March 31, 2021. Her responsibilities will include supervision of the Association’s flagship initiatives: the Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU) and Dar Al Hanan (DH) as well as tracking policy implementation across the sectors OCA engages in, in close coordination with the relevant government authorities, our sponsors and partners, as well as management of all programmes and projects underway and forecast for the next 5 years.
