The City of San Antonio will open 22 cooling centers in response to the 90-degree temperatures the area is expected to experience in the coming days.
According to the National Weather Service, San Antonio is expected to reach highs of 93 and 94 on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Due to weather impacts the following sites are closed Monday, Dec. 28: Moorpark College, Oxnard College, Freedom Park and Santa Paula. Ventura County Fairgrounds is open. It is a walk-in site. Enter on Shoreline Drive. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Testing by Appointment at State Testing Sites. The state offers two testing sites. One is located in Newbury Park at the Thousand Oaks Library and the other is at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center. Appointment required. Call 1-888-634-1123 or visit www.lhi.care/covidtesting
