If you’re looking for some fun things to do outside in the Oklahoma City area this weekend, you have your choice of things at the spur of the moment. Here are a few ideas:
For magic and whimsy
Beginning Friday, Scissortail Park is hosting a whimsical family festival at the Children’s Playground called “Fairies and Toadstools.”
Activities include an obstacle course to complete for your own fairy wings or dragon mask, presented by True Sky Credit Union; creating your own wand or sword; digging for seashells to reveal your magical name; listening to enchanted stories; meeting a fairy; playing with a magic toadstool bubbles; take-home crafts; a nature-themed “I Spy” game; a Scissortail Fairy Garden sponsored by A&G Landscaping and the opportunity to create your own; and more.
