WESTMINSTER, Colo. Just after midnight Thursday Westminster Police were notified by the Wyoming State Patrol that the one-year-old that was taken from her home in Westminster had been found south of Cheyenne.
The girl s father Alexander Damian Martinez, 28, was taken into custody without incident.
The girl was with him and safe. She will be returned to her mother.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had issued an Amber Alert for a one-year-old child that they say was taken from an apartment complex in Westminster Wednesday night.
Police said someone called 911 around 6:15 p.m. to report a domestic violence disturbance at the Park Place apartments at 9181 Federal Blvd., located near the corner of 91st Avenue and Federal Boulevard. When officers arrived, they were told by the female victim that her husband had assaulted her and taken their one-year-old child.

DOLORES, Colo. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has canceled an Amber Alert for the Navajo Police Department for two children last seen in southwest Colorado.
CBI said, Friday morning, that the two young children at the center of the alert were located and are safe.
An amber alert for the two was originally issued Thursday evening when the two were believed to be with a 35-year-old man, last seen in a brown over white 2005 Ford F-250 pickup in the Dolores, CO area, Thursday afternoon.
