Time is running out for firms to sign up for a free online manufacturing conference featuring Cumbrian businesses.
The full line-up for Made Smarterâs digital manufacturing conference has been revealed with Cumbrian businesses among 44 set to appear.
Billed as an event for manufacturers by manufacturers, the free-to-access virtual summit on March 10 will showcase how Cumbrian businesses can leverage and fast-track digital technology and tools for a year of recovery, growth and resilience.
Included on the billing are Keith Scobie-Youngs from Cumbria Clock Company and Ben Soper of Stead McAlpin & Company.
BUSINESSES across Wirral have secured funding to help introduce digital tools and support with new technologies. The investment into Wirral manufacturers is supported by Made Smarter who are offering intensive support to help businesses through digital transformation workshops and projects. The workshops will help businesses with technology, skills, advice, and leadership alongside creating more than 50 jobs across the region. Noel Doyle, Technical Director for Organica UK, a cleaning product manufacturer based in Birkenhead, said: With the support and advice of Made Smarter we have been able to invest in a data and systems and integration projects. It will enable us to monitor the performance of our production lines in real time from anywhere and to optimise our productivity to achieve the best possible yield.
