Open Thread Overflow: May 6th - 9th By campion on May 6, 2021, 4:17pm BST 374

On to the schedule, because the sooner these games are finished the closer we are to a merciful end to this forsaken season.
Thursday: Arsenal v. Villarreal and Roma v. United in Europa League semi-finals.
Friday: Leicester v. Newcastle (set your FPL lineups!)

Manchester City have quickly put a derby defeat behind them quickly with a positive performance and result against Southampton tonight.
City had won their last 15 Premier League outings in a wider 28-game unbeaten run, before slipping to a 2-0 reverse against United on Sunday. Pep Guardiola s men can put that right by winning tonight against Southampton and restoring their lead at the top of the table to 14 points. With United in Europa League action this week, City will have played a game more until Carabao Cup final weekend next month.
