High-style high-rise opens in Dallas’ Arts District
Atelier apartment tower is the latest luxury living addition in downtown Dallas

Step through the Flora Street doors of the new Atelier tower in downtown Dallas, and you’ll find an exhibit hall filled with artworks.
That’s not the usual welcome at a high-rise apartment building. But the Atelier is the first such rental tower in Dallas’ Arts District.
“We wanted to tie into the Arts District,” said John Vranac, property manager for the tower, which is holding its grand opening this week. “When you first walk in, it makes you feel like you are in a museum.” ....

Vanessa Peters was in Italy preparing for a European tour when the country went on a national lockdown. The tour was canceled and the recording sessions that had been scheduled in Texas after the tour were scrapped. Working instead in a farmhouse in Castiglion Fiorentino in Italy for 10 days, Peters and her Italian bandmates worked to finish some new songs for her upcoming album
Modern Age. Released Feb. 25, the video for the first of those songs, “Crazymaker,” was shot in Lucca, Italy.

Concert Truck gets Dallas encore with new slate of free outdoor shows

The Concert Truck is rolling back into Dallas for an encore. The one-of-a-kind mobile performance venue, which earned applause from audiences around the city during the holidays, is once again partnering with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra to present pop-up concerts in February and March.
Shows will take place outdoors with audiences and performers able to maintain a safe distance while enjoying live performances, DSO says. Locations include popular spots like One Arts Plaza, Klyde Warren Park, and NorthPark Center, but also some out of the box locales like White Rock Ale House and Brewery and Central Market Plano. ....
