In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the Hispanic Heritage Organization, Odessa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and LULAC hosted the 26th Annual Unity Luncheon at the La Margarita Festival Grounds.
Participants came together and celebrated with some traditional Mexican music and food.
Everyone from city leaders to representatives of the hospitals showed up, along with our very own Victor Lopez.
This year, organizers presented pandemic warrior awards.

ODESSA, Texas Paul Garza has been CEO of the Odessa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for one month, yet he s facing backlash on social media for past allegations. Those include several traffic violations and being accused of stealing from a non-profit, an accusation that was dropped.
Garza said he wants to earn the trust of his community, and the first step is talking about those allegations.

ODESSA, Texas The Odessa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has announced its new CEO.
Paul Garza will be taking the over the role. Some of his responsibilities include driving revenue, media relations, accounting, and to help develop new programs within the community.
Garza joins the chamber with over five years of experience working in digital marketing with his company RPG Digital.
His company provides social media and website development services to small businesses.
He also worked with the non-profit organization, Tall City Performing Arts. This group provides opportunities for those across the country to receive a world class education.
