The Danish Refugee Council and the Danish Demining Group (DRC-DDG) is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization operating in 35 countries. In late 2018, DRC-DDG undertook the identification of priority areas with the most acute needs from both mine action and livelihoods perspectives. From January 2020 onwards, with funding from the European Union Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace (EU IcSP), DRC has been implementing an integrated project (“Revitalising Frontline Communities Through Humanitarian De-mining and Livelihood Support”) to improve physical safety of civilians as well as the resilience of target communities by increasing the level of private income and repairing key social infrastructure.

“neo-conservative”) international organizations, but
he’s actually just a part of a network of around a
thousand or so global aristocrats or billionaires who do
this. Furthermore, within the individual U.S.-and-allied
nations, the billionaires who fund all of the domestic
political parties do the same thing in their own way; and,
in the United States, a different billionaire, the
conservative Charles Koch, is a mega-donor to Republican
politicians and is demonized by Democratic Party voters much
like Soros is demonized by America’s Republican Party

The European Union in partnership with the World Health Organisation (WHO) has launched a new regional project worth over €7 million to support safe and effective vaccination of the populations across the Western Balkans.
This project will help prepare the region for the effective reception and administration of COVID-19 vaccines, including those received from COVAX and through the EU vaccine sharing mechanism with EU Member States. It will also help improve the region’s resilience against health emergencies, and support it in moving towards sustainable funding for universal health care. Activities will include, amongst others, development and testing of emergency preparedness plans, training for health professionals and development of information management systems for vaccine roll out.
