Believe me, this question pops up quite frequently, from my readers, especially when they check out social media, and also watch the news on TV.
We all know that law enforcement authorities are taking a tough stand against health regulation violators, and no one would disagree, or find fault with the rules implemented.
Many have been arrested for not wearing face masks, not maintaining physical distancing, etc., and police spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana has warned of tougher action against violators of health regulations
We have seen it happening…on TV…where people, who do not wear face masks in public places, are bundled into police vehicles, and hauled up before courts. ....

Well, according to what is recorded in the history, The Ceylon University Association was founded in 1906 and campaigned for the establishment of a University level institution in Ceylon. The idea was championed by prominent figures at the time, such as Sir James Peiris, Sir Marcus Fernando and Sir Ponnambalam Arunachalam. ....
