Historic monuments on Plymouth Hoe are now being lit up at night - including the statue of Sir Francis Drake.
Plymouth City Council has installed the lighting to improve the experience of night-time visitors.
The features lit from dusk to midnight are The Royal Air Force and Allied Air Forces memorial, the Merchant Navy memorial, the Armada memorial, and the Drake statue.
The council is in discussions with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission about a similar plan for The Royal Naval Memorial.
