Brian Arthur Killaloe mourns ‘iconic’ publican Marie Reddan May 5, 2021 THE twin communities of Ballina and Killaloe were united in mourning following the recent death of an “iconic” publican. Marie Reddan (née McMahon), Main Street, Reddan’s Bar, Killaloe, and formerly of Castleconnell, County Limerick died peacefully at her residence in the loving care of her family. Tributes have been paid to the 93 year-old, who was one of Killaloe’s best known and respected people. Councillor Tony O’Brien described the former Ahane camogie player as an “iconic figure” in the life of Killaloe.

Limerick s Live 95 Search By Live95 News Team Limerick s newest honorary citizen says he will always be happy to promote Limerick city and county as a great place to live.  Munster Rugby s CJ Stander beame an honorary Limerick man at the Limerick Person of the Year Awards 2020 this week.  The ceremony was streamed live from the Clayton Hotel in Limerick and viewers were treated to a special video package looking back on the amazing career of the Munster and Ireland Rugby player.  CJ plans to return to his native South Africa at the end of the season but says a piece of his heart will always be in Limerick.
