Komen Idaho Announces Permanent Closure
Closures, cancellations, sweeping changes and buzz-kills , if you will, have all been a part of the last 11 months of life for us here in the Treasure Valley and beyond. Our favorite restaurants, most anticipated concerts, and even life milestones like weddings have, in the last year, all taken a beating by the global pandemic that is COVID-19.
Unfortunately, we re now seeing beloved organizations that do so much for the community take a hit now, too.
Just announced this week, the Komen Idaho Montana group will no longer be in existence. The group is best known in the Treasure Valley for the annual Race for the Cure (which 103.5 KISS FM has been a proud partner of for years), breast cancer screening grants, and several other fundraisers linked to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
