Shannon Wells spent the last seven seasons on the staff at Florida, and she has been hired to lead the Cavaliers program. In addition to coaching with the Gators, Wells has made stops at Ole Miss, Winthrop, and her alma mater: The University of Southern Indiana. UVA (2-12, 0-11 ACC) did not complete its schedule in 2020-21, after the previous coaching staff was dismissed midseason.
