SAPAC Welcomes New Interim Director
SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Performing Arts Center announced it will has welcomed a new Interim Executive Director. San Angelo native Elena Kent will be at the helm of the organization.
Kent holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and has a vast experience in the arts that includes non-profit administration, directing, stage performance, art education, community outreach, and studio art.
Born and raised in San Angelo, Kent has been involved in the development and implementation of many arts programs in the Concho Valley for the past 17 years.
In 2004, she became the Youth Director at Angelo Civic Theatre. She remained in that position until 2011 when she founded Be Theatre and served as the Founding Artistic Director for the past 10 years.
