On January 28th, OPP executed a warrant on Nauvoo Road, in Brooke-Alvinston Township. Police seized illegal drugs consisting of suspected methamphetamine, hydromorphone, cocaine, cannabis and a stolen lawn tractor from Oxford County. The total value of the seizure is estimated at $57,000. 50-year-old Georges Doucet from Brooke-Alvinston, along with 31-year-old Angela Bain and 39-year-old Tyler Grusie both of Warwick Township were arrested and charged with multiple offenses.

At a Special Called Board Meeting on June 3, 2020, the Clarendon Four Board of Trustees unanimously approved the hiring of Dr. Angela Bain as Interim Superintendent for the 2020-2021 school year. Dr. Bain’s official start date is July 1, 2020. She will spearhead the development of the new district that will open on July 1, 2021.
Dr. Angela Bain began her career in education in 1980, as a teacher. After almost 40 years in education, she is currently the Superintendent for the Chester County School District. Before becoming Superintendent, she was one of the Deputy State Superintendents of Education at the South Carolina Department of Education. Her goal is making connections and bringing people together on behalf of the children in our state. She truly believes in preparing our students for college and careers.
