A great horned owl with its wing tangled in a string was rescued by San Francisco Animal Care and Control Tuesday with the help of the S.F. Fire Department, and is recovering.

Animal Care and Control arrived on the scene Tuesday morning after 8:30 a.m. and found the owl more than 30 feet above the ground in a Monterey cypress tree in a community garden at Crocker Amazon Park. The agency said the bird was being attacked by crows, according to CBS News.
