“Rumors”
The Bay Street Players in Eustis present the Neil Simon farce, “Rumors,” opening Friday and playing until April 18 at the Historic State Theatre.
The play takes place at a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse where the deputy mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of farce as they are gathering for the 10th wedding anniversary of the host, who lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife, who is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get the story straight before the other gue

“Peace, Love and Murder”
Get your 60s groove on at the “Peace, Love and Murder” murder mystery dinner show 6 p.m. Saturday at Blooms Baking House and Restaurant in Leesburg.
It’s 1968 in the hippy commune of Unity Acres as they welcome the newest members with a Peace, Love and Munchies dinner. The transcendental evening is interrupted when a member of the commune meets an untimely death.
