LIBRARY PROJECTS

The town of Southbury has finished improvements to the Southbury Public Library that facilitate safe and accessible use of the library and included installing a major improvement to the HVAC system that increases protection of the public and staff from Covid-19. The project was funded by a $34,133 state grant, part of the Everybody Learns Initiative. The library now has acrylic barriers on study tables that allow visitors to sit safely and has installed shields between computer stations.
